Ruthie, ever since you swept me off my feet by brilliantly extracting that hook off my floor so many years ago, I have been enamored of your many talents and your common (and uncommon) sense (and nonsense). As co-lyricists of one of the classic Jewish songs of the modern era (y'all know which one I mean...), you've helped push me to my creative limits. But I ask: who will co-author the necessary musical accompaniments to the upcoming set of pre-nuptial festivities? Would it be in bad taste if I asked you? And will you breakdance at your own wedding? And is it possible to sing Hashiveinu without sounding cacophonous? These are all important questions, worthy of ponderance by a sharp mind like your own.
