Dear Uncle Yosi and Aunt Sheera, Internet has been slow in coming, so my opportunities to use the computer have been few and far between. And since I can't use it in my house, and I can't go anywhere else to use it, I haven't been able to write the post I've been wanting to write. Aunt Sheera, it was really spending the second days of Succos with you and I was really happy that I could be at the l'chaim in New York. It was really the highlight of my trip, and seeing as how since I've been back I've spent my time kicking, crying, eating and filling up my diaper, it's the memories and anticipation for the wedding that keeps me going. Hopefully I'll be walking by June! Anyway, love you guys and hope to see you soon, Mazal Tov! Aderet Eisen

Hey guys! I was going to wait for Ethan to post first but then I realized- who am I kidding, you are never supposed to wait for an Eisen! I'm sure you know that by now Sheera:) Yos, i'm so happy for you (and i'm excited to see how you manage in a clean organized apartment!) and Sheera, it's nice to finally have a sister on the Eisen side of my family (other than Ginger of course- we would never leave her out now would we?!) and as messy as they are- Eisen boys aren't that bad! Mazal tov to you guys! It was so nice being able to celebrate with you! Aderet's hoping for a visit before June! All my love, Talia (and Aderet and i'm sure Ethan wishes you a mazel tov also:)

Dear Sheera and Yosi, Shabbat was a wonderful day in Memphis. Even before Rabbi Finkelstein announced your engagement to each other, the congregation knew that special news was coming because of the huge smile on my face. I have to take responsibility for the incorrect geographical locations that were initially listed for the two of you. . I figured that i would list where you two are presently living, not where you grew up. However, if this is the worst mistake that I make as a mother/mother-in-law in the years to come, I will be pleased. Sheera, I want to welcome you into the Eisen family. I am overjoyed with happiness. Love, Yosi's Mom

Mazal tov, Sheera and Yosi! We were so excited to hear the fantastic news! Yosi, only your dad could have announced your engagement in quite the way that he (and your mom) did. Sheera, you're getting a great guy and joining a wonderful family. We wish you a lifetime of happiness together, good health and all of Hashem's blessings. We can't wait to hear more details of your plans. Cindy and Bill Sacharin

Many years ago, my great-great-great-grandfather, the highly decorated General Stonewall Beauregard Eisen, issued a family edict, a /takana/ if you will, which stated that as a result of the high crimes and misdemeanors committed against the South during the War of Northern Aggression, no Eisen man would marry the daughter of a Federalist, /especially/ one hailing from Beantown. However, after careful negotiations with the highly esteemed Colonel Jesse (Hefter), I believe that the General would relent on his /takana/ and give his bracha to this marriage. Mazal Tov to both of you. Sincerely yours, Colonel Zebulon Barzel Eisen
