Okay...so I have been procrastinating this long because I am not sure how I can write what I need to. Abby and Avi: Remember when that nice young man from NCSY came to Lakewood to help us out at an NCSY barbeque in the park? Remember how Abby got her Dad to be the parent who helped supervise and cook the hot dogs and hamburgers and when her Dad looked around for help and was wondering where Abby was, he finally caught sight of her about a hundred yards away talking to that nice young man who had come to help out? That really was so considerate of him to come all the way to Lakewood just to help out at a little NCSY barbeque. In some ways, it feels like a long time ago and in some ways it feels like yesterday. hellooooooooo. MAZAL TOVVVVVV! dude this is crazy not in an "it's crazy that those 2 people got engaged" way but in an "it's crazy that this finally happened bc we've (we=abby+the rest of us) been waiting our whole lives for it" kind of way. ok i'm not going to write all the we're-in-on-the-avi-and-abby-jokes, but i just need to add how much abby loves her american eagle clothes. and that avi, you've been in my phone as "abster's avster" since maybe 11th grade. it's so nice and special that you guys have been growing together for so long already, and i'm sure you'll continue on the same track of growing into greater and greater people and helping everyone around you do the same thing. it's really inspiring how devoted you guys have always been to each other, even in high school while there were a million things going on (half of them that abby made up for herself to do for homework slash despite the fact that we definitely did much less than a million things in high school) and the rest of us were all over the place, but you guys were always really steady and down to earth. you guys are just the best and it makes me smile whenever i see you together. i hope you guys enjoy all the approaching veryyyy organized wedding planning (btw abs, remember when sarah was the one planning the wedding...) and just being happy that you found each other (while the rest of us continue to freak out about dating). i love you both and i love the 2 of you together, and you should always have all the brachot of happiness and smiles and growing (not taller bc you guys are the perfect heights already) and and building a beautiful family and everything good in the world ever. i already started researching plane tickets but like if you want to have the wedding in israel, i'm totally in for that too. abs, as usual, you're the best, and avi, thanks for calling and proposing to all of us and then to abby. mazal tov again, and especially from my family, who are super happy for you guys too. love, jenny ps. are we talking about chem, bc then abby was my lab partner. we did things slowlyyyy together.
