A federal judge in Hawaii has just issued a nationwide order (read : Here ) President Trump’s second attempt at a travel ban on travel from parts of the Muslim world, dealing a huge political blow to the White House and signaling that those in favor of the ban are facing a long legal battle ahead.
This comes after Trump’s first setback when a Seattle judge stopped the first executive order last month.
The new and narrower travel ban was aimed at preventing another court halt by removing some of the most contentious parts of the first version.
But it appears that Trump has failed at this goal for now.
