An Arab terrorist was shot and eliminated inside an Israeli civilian’s home in Har Hevron after the terrorist left him with light stab wounds Wednesday.
The terror attack occurred in the Havat Mor outpost, which is located outside of the Jewish community of Taneh Omerim in the South Hevron Hills.
According to an initial investigation into the terror attack, the Israeli civilian heard a noise outside his family home. When he went outside to investigate the source of the noise, he was encountered by an Arab terrorist holding multiple knives.
The civilian returned back inside his home to retrieve his gun. The terrorist followed him inside, stabbing him in the back.
It is now being reported that the family dog jumped on the terrorist, which allowed his owner to escape the assault, retrieve his revolver and shoot and eliminate the terrorist. The civilian’s wife and young child were present inside the home during the terror attack.
Magen David Adom responders arrived at the scene and treated a man in his 30’s who sustained light stab wounds, according to a spokesperson.
The Arab terrorist died after succumbing to his wounds.
The IDF was searching the area for further terrorists.
