A Palestinian terrorist drove his car into IDF soldiers at a bus station near the Israeli community of Ofra, in the Binyamin region of Samaria, killing one  and wounding another.

The terrorist reportedly drove along Route 60, a major route in the area, in search of casualties. He passed the bus stop and, after seeing the soldiers, made a U-turn and and rammed into them.

The terrorist was neutralized and arrested by other soldiers present at the scene.

Nachum Bienenfeld, a volunteer from United Hatzalah, who rushed to the scene of the attack said he found “a very tragic and difficult situation.”

“The Palestinian vehicle drove  onto the sidewalk, and ran over a group of soldiers that were standing near the bus stop. The security poles that had been installed in front of the bus stop, prevented many more injuries from happening,” he said.
Israeli security officials had warned that Palestinian terrorist organizations would attempt to carry out attacks before the Passover festivities, which will be held on Monday.

The terrorist group Hamas praised the attack.
