Fans of 90’s pop music living in Israel are rejoicing as Britney Spears is rumored to be performing her in Israel for the first time in the summer of 2017 as part of her upcoming world tour.
No show date has been announced, but according to Channel 2, Spears will perform a one-night show in Tel Aviv’s Hayarkon Park in early July.
The production company will announce the finalized date and ticket information in the coming days, according to the report.
At the time of publication, there were no Israel shows dates on Spears’ website, nor was there mention of a trip to Israel on her social media feeds.
In recent months, rumors of a Spears concert in Israel have swirled as local music producers have been working to bring the Pop Princess to Israel since last year.
Spears shot to international fame in the late 1990s with hits “…Baby One More Time” and “Oops!…I Did It Again” and has sold more than 100 million albums and 100 million singles in her two decades long career.
Spears will be joining a hot lineup of artist performing in Israel this summer including Justin Bieber, Aerosmith, Radiohead, Tears for Fears, Rod Stewart, Nick Cave, and Gun N’ Roses.
