Gal Gadot will present an award at the Oscars this year

(JTA) — Israeli actress Gal Gadot will present an award at the upcoming Academy Awards ceremony.

Ten new presenters were announced on Wednesday by the academy. Star War’s Mark Hamill, Guatemalan actor Oscar Isaac and Hamilton’s Lin-Manuel Miranda were among those on the list.

Gadot starred in “Wonder Woman,” which did not receive nominations in any categories for this year’s Academy Awards. Gadot also appeared this year as Wonder Woman in the film “Justice League.”

It is Gadot’s first time presenting an Oscar at the annual Academy Award’s ceremony, marking its 90thanniversary this year.  She presented a Golden Globe Award this year for Best Actress to Rachel Brosnahan for her role in “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

The Oscar ceremony this year will take place on March 4.
