I'm not calling anything a "disgrace" and Kol Zimra sounded great, and I love America and the fact that the White House had a Chanukah party, but I don't think this event is entitled to a spot on the Aliyah page. Why not use a bar mitzvah one instead - maybe an upsherin?

Alex, this is amazing! You guys sound great!! Not sure if this is news to you, but President George Bush was the 1st President to light in the White House. Glad to see the tradition has stayed alive!! I wrote an article about this on http://www.MarketingBlog.NET

A big congratulations all of Kol Zimra, but especially to Ilan Schwed and Alex Weissman, just because I love you boys! You will remember that day for the rest of your lives, nice work. Wish i could have seen it!!!

Great Job Kol Zimra, but especially Dov, Shua and Alex!! You were awesome!! The boys want to know if you'll sing at their birthday party!

I thought it was beautiful and a real kiddush Hashem! Bravo!

Thanks Kol Zimra and the rest of the organizers for making a Kiddush Hashem. We have to show thanks to our president for supporting the land of Hashem.

We saw the video and pictures and enjoyed it. We are so proud of you Jordan and the whole Kol Zimra Group for making such a Kiddush Hashem for all of us. Thank you. Sincerely, Rochell and David Weisfogel and family

Very nice! You guys sounded AWESOME! And I agree, as long as the Shem was not pronounced, what's the problem? So will Kol Zimra be performing at the White House next year for the Kwanza party? ;-)

no. its not a disgrace. he did not even mention shem hashem. i actually found the entire thing very moving. But does no one else find it entirely amusing that President Bush is a feature on onlysimchas homepage?

Does anyone else find it a disgrace to make a Bracha on lighting the Menorah a week before Chanuka starts?
