Sign the guestbook Posted By Leonardo Kreisman (03-Apr-09)
Hi Guys, my name is Leonardo Kreisman in a error of records immigration, my real name the name of my family is Kreismann, do you know any Erika Kreismann Weiss? I'm so glad to find you, sorry for write, but i'm searching about family that came from russia, poland, estonia, lithuania, all jews that sometime skip from some persicution, in my case my family arrived at Brazil, i'm 23, i'm brazilian from State of Rio Grande do Sul, i'm a Yidishi Gaucho(see wikipedia), i live at the city of Canoas, first sorry for my english and second there i go, this is our history, my grandparent's parents came from Russia in ship, they arrived at Argentina around 1911, and there my grandpa born. After a year they came to Brazil, he had other brothers and sisters, like Jacob Kreismann, Joseph Kreismann (best known as uncle Yop), Yosan Kreismann, Mary Kreismann, and others i can't remember. So the community they lived, the neighbors always sad that we were jews, but my grandmother that get married with my grandpa here in Brazil (she was daughter of German father and French mother, they scape from the first war), always said we were German, and more, said to us (affraid of something), that if they asked in the school if we were jew, we had to say that we were German, because she thought we were be hurted, or persecuted. After many search i found 15 Kreismann's dead at Varsovia Holocaust, i found other 4 or 5 Kreismann's studing in Yad Vashem, i found the name of family in a sinagogue at Polonia, if found the records of arriving of my family at argentina as jews, i found and talked with a Kreisman in United States, Las Vegas called Victor Kreisman, he and his family are jews, he scaped from the second war being hidden in many houses, and when he was 18 he went to United States, he served in Israel Army, and he went back to USA got into Special Forces Army, and now he is retired living at Las Vegas, the last time i talked with him he was going to Jerusalem to see the married of his nephew. Here is the email they send to me: Hello Leonardo, Sorry I'm so late with my respond. My husband is Jewish and was born in 1928 in Dedovo Czech. In 1937 they came to Belgium, where they were hidding during the war. He served in the Israeli Army in 1948, when Israel was liberated. In 1953 he joined the US Army Special Forces under a 5 years contract to get USA Citizenship, he retired after 24 Years of service. We are retired and leave near Las Vegas. End of March we will be going to Israel for his Nephews Wedding, then to Brussel to see his other brother, we will be gone for a month. Feel free to contact us if you have more question. Give us a visit, if you ever come to America. Have a nice day. Betty & Victor Kreisman They sad: As far as we know there are some of the Kreisman's who went to Brazil, but originally they came from what is now the Ukraine (Czechoslovakia). But i found Kreismann's that came to São Paulo from Estonia, i found in Polonia, Lithuania, Russia, German, Ukraine, Brazil, A lot of records of them in USA New York immigration's databases (all from russia and all jews). I found in Israel you and others, so i'm very glad, untill a little time before, i thought my family was alone, by the way not anymore. I'm in the college, i work with Industrial Automation and Information Systems, my brother is a engeneer, my father and mother are retired. I will send you some websites where we can find more records one of them is from jewishgen of Argentina where list Kreisman name as jew, the only Kreisman i know that lived in Argentina was my grandpa. And i will send you, there it goes: try to find KREISMAN or KREISMANN in those sites and you will see the names there http://www.jewishgenealogy.com.ar/kalisz/ancestors_k.html http://www.benkazez.com/dan/udi/books.html http://data.jewishgen.org/wconnect/wc.dll?jg~jgsys~jripllat2 http://data.jewishgen.org/wconnect/wc.dll?jg~jgsys~jripllat2 And well there are a lot that i can't find find right now, because i'm at my job, but in the wekeend i will send you a lot of more records and information, i want find the picture i lost im my computer of a lapid of 15 Kreismann's dead in holocaust i believe. What would be the amaizing thing to me is to put you in contact with other jews i know in United States, and other countrys, like a great family Kreismann roots, i would like to know more about you ,and what would really be a dream is an ALIAH to Israel, so any help you know that is possible, i really would like to camback iam trying to find any records here in Brazil and Argentina, but is too hard to get in contact with ALIAH associations, and i'm trying to get in contact with relatives and they are almost all dead, and the roots of my family is being lost, please if it's possible help me to find the roots, and don't feel as if i came from the stones, you know we have almost no relatives by my fahter's side, we know that war is the most sad thing that destroy families, but although, sorry for boring you, THANKS in advance, i would really apreciate that if you can answer. G'd Bless Ya Shalu Shalom Yeruchalaim
