I never knew how fried dumplings and knowing shua koenig would save me from a horrible fate. It was dark. It was cold. I was scared. I was trapped in the intercondyle sulucus of the femur with tom the kazoo player, frankie the yiddish theater actor and harry the San Diego Chargers place kicker (see earlier adventures on gavin franks site). "We have to find a way to get out of here" I cried! All of a sudden we heard a loud noise. "What is that?" I exclamed. "Oh its just a parade of passing white rinos" said harry. "They trot by about once every two weeks." "This is the way out!" I yelled. "I know that rinos happen to hate fried dumplings. Even the smell of them gets the burning mad. I happen to have a whole container of the in my back pocket!" Running over to the rinos we threw the dumpilings there way. All of a sudden the rinos started stampeding! They charged right into the locked door that was in front of the femur! "Free!" we exclamied. Scrambeling to get out of that lonesome place we ran out into a dark long passageway. Running as fast as we could we spun around a tight turn. We then stopped dead in our tracks. Right in front of us was a six armed gorrila from Uganda! That wasnt what stopped us though because having grown up the plains of Uganda I was used to seeing six armed monkeys. What did stop us was the enourmous korean man standing in front of us welding a nine foot axe. Trembeling in our boots (mine were dockers, harry had on nikes, frankie had a pair of the finest L.L. Bean and tom had a pair of 100% handmade leather versace boots-those kazoo players sure rank it in) we slowly approached the man. "No one shall pass!" he belowed at us. Fearing we reached the end of our road we slowly started to turn back. Then, out of the corner of my eye I realized he was wearing a pin on his shirt. Looking at it closer I realized It said "I am shua koenigs #1 Fan!" Then it came clear to me as the Mondrian painting I saw a couple of years back (yup the Broadway Boogie Boggie painting) "Hey" I yelled at him "you know shua konieg! Well guess what? I know him too!" "Really?" he exclaimed "then you must know he is engaged!" "Mazel Tov!" I yelled. "Please let me out of here so I could wish him mazel tov myself!" "I will let you out of here" he said "but only if you get me the single egg of the fire breathing dragon on top of death mountain." "Its a deal." I said. How I got that egg is a diffrent story.

Binyomin & Suri - Mazel tov from Yerushalayim. This news is great, even though it took us by surprise. You both should be zocheh to build a binyan adei ad - and you should enjoy each other for many many many many years to come - ad be'as hagoel. When in EY, drop by for a visit/meal/day/week/month/etc. Open house, you know.
